From Model to Policy: Building a Climate Connection Between Modelers Across the World

Researchers from Chile and New Zealand met to share experiences on using economic models to set national climate targets. They identified seven key areas where better modelling could lead to stronger climate policy: transparency, stakeholder engagement, cost-benefit analysis, ambition-setting, timing, communication, and collaboration.
